Planned giving is the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children within the context of your overall financial plan and includes supporting the foundation via bequests/wills, trusts, gifts of stock, life insurance, and gifts of real estate/personal property. For more information, contact Tammy Shaklee at tshaklee@centralandsouthtexas.wish.org, (512)329-9474 or (800)880-9474 toll-free. You can also visit the national website for planned giving opportunities and online tax benefit calculators.
Ongoing: Adopt-A-Wish®/Kids for Wish Kids®
The Foundation is interested in approaching businesses, schools, churches and other organizations to "adopt" a wish and would like your assistance. The approximate cost (including administrative expenses) to fulfill a wish is $5000, and there are a number of ways adopters can raise these funds. Visit our current list of wishes available for adoption. We need contacts in the following places: your employer, other businesses, civic/professional groups, schools and churches/synagogues. Contact Tammy Shaklee at tshaklee@centralandsouthtexas.wish.org, (512)329-9474 or (800)880-9474 toll-free with your leads.
